Modi confirmed the phone call on his official X handle (formerly Twitter) late Monday night. He wrote, "Today had a phone conversation with US President Biden. During this time, we exchanged views in detail on various regional and global issues, including the situation in Ukraine. I reiterated India's full support for speedy restoration of peace and stability."

In addition to the situation in Ukraine, Modi stated that they discussed the current situation in Bangladesh. "We also discussed the situation in Bangladesh and emphasized the need to restore normalcy in the country as soon as possible," Modi added on the social media platform.
