Imran Khan's party, Tehreek-e-Insaf-PTI, is showing a big surprise in Pakistan's elections after various dramas surrounding the election results. Imran Khan-backed independents are already out of touch with the private results of seats available till 6:30 am on Saturday (February 10). News from Pakistani media Geo News.

After two nights of polling in Pakistan, the results of all constituencies have not yet been announced. The results of 241 constituencies have been reported privately. Only 25 seats are left.

Independent candidates have won 96 seats according to the latest private results of 241 seats, according to Geo News. Of which, except for one, the rest are followers of the country's former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) won 70 seats. Pakistan People's Party (PPP), which came third, won 53 seats. Besides, Muttahida Qaumi Movement won 15 seats, Istegam Pakistan Party 2 seats, Pakistan Mashi League 3 seats and Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam 2 seats.

Results of 25 general seats are pending. Second placed Nawaz (PML-N) won 70 seats. But even if his party wins all the remaining 25 seats, it will not be able to touch the independents. Because independent candidates in the first position are ahead in 26 seats. Even if the PML-N wins all the remaining 25 seats, that too is almost impossible.

Before this, the country's National Assembly elections were held in 266 seats last Thursday (February 8). There are a total of 336 seats in the National Assembly of Pakistan. Out of 266 seats, rest are reserved for women and other religions.

173 seats are required to form the government alone. In that case, about 150 seats have to be won out of the elected seats. Therefore, no party is likely to get a single majority in this country's elections.

Meanwhile, the country's interim government has blamed the shutdown of mobile phone services for the delay in declaring results. In this situation, PTI has raised allegations of rigging in the election results. Party spokesperson Rauf Hasan termed the delay in announcing the results as unprecedented.

After polling on Thursday, PTI said it was ahead in 150 seats. However, the results show that even if they are ahead, it is not enough to get a single majority.

Although the party showed quite a surprise in the polls. Earlier, analysts were saying that PTI may be in full swing. And PML-N can easily come to power. But at the end of the vote, it was the opposite. The fight is fierce.

A coalition government will be formed if no party gets a single majority. In this case PTI can form alliance with others. Again PML-N, PPP and other parties can form alliance and come to power.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gahar Ali Khan expressed optimism that they will get more than 150 seats. They said that they will not join forces with former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif or Bilawal Bhutto's party. He also said that we are not in touch with PML-N and PPP.

Incidentally, Imran Khan's party could not directly participate in this election. Supporters of the party contested elections as independent candidates. Imran Khan is also in jail after being sentenced to prison. So he could not stand for the vote. However, he voted from jail.
