Oct 25 V7N- Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly set to defy a French league order requiring the club to pay Kylian Mbappe 55 million euros ($59.5 million) in back pay, a source close to the matter told AFP on Friday. The amount represents the last three months of Mbappe's salary at PSG, along with several bonuses he claims are owed to him following his departure to Real Madrid.
PSG, however, contends that Mbappe agreed to forgo the sum as part of a mutual agreement reached in August 2023. Despite mediation efforts by a French league committee to settle the dispute, PSG’s Qatar-based ownership remains firm on their stance. AFP has reached out to Mbappe's representatives for comment on the matter.
