Oct 28, V7N- Christian Horner’s remarks about Sergio Perez’s future with Red Bull cast doubt on whether the Mexican driver will complete the Formula One season. After a disappointing race in Mexico City—starting in 18th, finishing last, and picking up penalties for a false start and multiple clashes—Perez faced criticism from Horner, who emphasized the results-based nature of the sport. Red Bull's position in the Constructors’ Championship has also slipped to third behind Ferrari, adding pressure for consistent point-scoring from both drivers.

Despite Perez’s contract through 2025, Horner suggested Red Bull might consider a driver change if results do not improve over the remaining races. While he confirmed Perez will race in Brazil, the comments fueled speculation that Red Bull might bring in another driver for the final three rounds of the season if Perez’s form doesn’t recover. Horner acknowledged that Red Bull has supported Perez as much as possible but hinted that there are limits, saying, "There comes a point in time that you can only do so much."

The uncertain tone from Horner underscores the mounting pressure on Perez to perform, as Red Bull needs both drivers to be competitive to regain its position in the standings.
