Oct 30, V7N- Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball will miss at least four games due to a sprained right wrist, as announced by the team. Ball sustained the injury during the first quarter of the Bulls' 126-123 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night, but he continued playing, logging six points and six assists in 18 minutes off the bench.
This marks yet another injury setback for Ball, who previously missed two full seasons due to left knee issues. His return this season in Chicago's opener on October 23 against the Pelicans was his first game since January 14, 2022. The Bulls have been cautious with Ball's playing time, limiting his participation in back-to-backs as he gets back up to speed.
In his three games this season, Ball has been coming off the bench, averaging 4.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists. Although Chicago plans to re-evaluate him in 10 days, the team does not expect the injury to have long-term implications.
With Ball out, the Bulls (2-2) will host the Orlando Magic on Wednesday, followed by games against Brooklyn, Utah, and Dallas, all of which he is likely to miss.
