Dhaka, Apr 09 (V7N) –Batsman Nasir Hossain has been cleared by the International Cricket Council to resume participation in official cricket following the successful completion of the conditions set for his return.
The 33-year old was handed a two-year ban from all cricket in September 2023, with six months suspended, for breaching the ICC's Anti-Corruption Code.
As per the terms of the sanction, Nasir has now fulfilled all requirements, including completing the mandatory Anti-Corruption Education session.
This has paved the way for his eligibility to re-enter official cricket as of April 7, 2025.
Nasir represented Bangladesh in 115 international matches across all formats between 2011 and 2018.
