Miami, July 2 (V7N) – Real Madrid advanced to the quarterfinals of the FIFA Club World Cup with a 1-0 win over Juventus on Sunday night, as French superstar Kylian Mbappé made his long-awaited debut in a white shirt at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.

Although the new signing did not score in his first official appearance for the club, Mbappé made an immediate impact with his movement and link-up play, thrilling fans who had waited eagerly for his arrival. The only goal of the match came from Gonzalo García, who found the back of the net to send the Spanish giants into the next round.

Juventus started the game aggressively, threatening early. In the 7th minute, Kenan Yıldız broke through Madrid’s defense and set up striker Randal Kolo Muani, whose delicate chip narrowly missed the crossbar, beating goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
