The long-awaited triumph has sparked nationwide celebration, and BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has also expressed admiration for the team’s achievement. In his message, Tarique Rahman said the victory serves as a powerful reminder of what Bangladeshis can accomplish through discipline, unity, and belief. He wrote that the early goal by Mohammad Morsalin and the team’s relentless performance have reignited hope in the hearts of millions, signalling a brighter future for the country’s sporting landscape.

Meanwhile, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir also congratulated the Bangladesh football team and officials for the remarkable win over India.
