Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) President, Kazi M Salahuddin, has returned home on Tuesday after a 26-day hospital stay, following a coronary artery bypass surgery on December 28. The 70-year-old underwent a six-hour surgery at Evercare Hospital in the capital city, after which he spent a week in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) before being transferred to a cabin.

The BFF and SAFF resident showed consistent improvement during his recovery, prompting his doctor to grant permission for him to leave the hospital. Salahuddin, passionate about returning to his role, expressed sincere thanks for the support received from the soccer community and his peers globally. He also acknowledged the exceptional treatment provided by healthcare professionals.

The Bangladesh Soccer Association extended gratitude for the support from the press and the public, emphasizing the need for a personal and protected setting as Salahuddin continues his recuperation.
