June 3 -V7N Dhaka: Trend Micro (4704.T) announced its collaboration with Nvidia (NVDA.O) to develop innovative cybersecurity tools utilizing artificial intelligence. These tools, set to debut at the Computex conference in Taiwan, aim to safeguard data centers engaged in AI operations by leveraging Nvidia's chips.
 
Designed to detect intruders and ensure data confidentiality, these tools address the increasing vulnerability of centralized data systems used in AI applications. Kevin Simzer, Trend Micro's Chief Operating Officer, highlighted the risk of cyber threats targeting consolidated business data, describing them as "massive honeypots of information."
 
Aside from intrusion detection, Trend Micro will focus on preventing unauthorized access to data fed into AI systems. With the growing use of AI for tasks like human resources and customer service, safeguarding sensitive information becomes paramount. Simzer emphasized the need to scrutinize user interactions with AI chatbots, ensuring that confidential data remains protected.
