New York Oct 08 (V7N) - Vice President Kamala Harris faces declining support among young Latino men, particularly in key battleground states like Arizona and Nevada, according to exclusive USA Today/Suffolk University polls. Despite leading Republican candidate Donald Trump among Latino voters overall, Harris is losing momentum with men under 50.

In Arizona, 57% of Latino voters back Harris, compared to 38% for Trump. Similarly, Harris leads in Nevada with 56% support from Latino voters, while 40% favor Trump. However, the gender gap is pronounced. In Arizona, 51% of Latino men aged 18-34 prefer Trump, while only 39% support Harris. These figures are echoed in Nevada, where 53% of Latino men under 35 back Trump.

Latina women, on the other hand, continue to strongly support Harris. Issues such as reproductive rights and gun safety resonate with younger women, while inflation and immigration dominate concerns for men.

The polls, conducted between September 27 and October 2, highlight the razor-thin margins that may determine the 2024 election outcome, particularly in pivotal states like Arizona and Nevada.
