The rebels are fighting fiercely with the junta forces in Myanmar. The Arakan Army is one of the three insurgent groups that have been bandied about. These weapons and ammunition are bought from black marketers.

Analysts say India has no support for the Arakan Army. But they think that China has support for them. The reason for this is China's huge investment in Rakhine state, including deep sea ports and gas pipelines.
