In a series of Israeli airstrikes on the blockaded Gaza Strip, 342 educational institutions have been left in ruins. Since October 7, the offensive has led to the expulsion of 470,000 pupils, according to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), as reported by Al Jazeera.

The OCHA report highlights the northern Gaza Strip and Khan Younis refugee camp as the most severely affected areas, with approximately 74% of educational institutions sustaining substantial damage.

Today marks the 92nd day of Israeli hostilities in Gaza, with the Palestinian Authority reporting a tragic toll of 22,722 Palestinian lives lost and 58,166 individuals injured.
