Gaza, Nov 30 (V7N) — Israeli military operations in Gaza have reached an unprecedented level of brutality over the past two years, with the death toll exceeding 70,000, according to data released by the Gaza Health Ministry on Saturday (November 29).
In addition to the staggering loss of life, more than 170,000 Palestinians have been seriously injured since the escalation began. Health authorities warn that the actual numbers may be even higher due to ongoing attacks and difficulties in reaching trapped victims.
Last month, the United States brokered a ceasefire agreement, but sporadic Israeli strikes have continued across Gaza. On Saturday, an Israeli drone strike in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, killed two children, according to local sources.
On the same day, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out simultaneous ground, naval, and air assaults in multiple areas, further intensifying the humanitarian crisis.
Human rights organizations have repeatedly expressed alarm over the scale of civilian casualties, warning that Gaza’s healthcare and infrastructure systems are on the brink of total collapse.
