Islamabad, Dec 02 (V7N) – For more than three weeks, there has been no confirmed sighting or proof that former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan is alive. His family has expressed growing alarm, suggesting that authorities may be deliberately withholding information about his current condition, which they fear could be “irreversible.”

In an interview with Reuters on Sunday, Khan’s son, Qasim Khan, said that the prolonged uncertainty is causing immense psychological stress for the family. “Not knowing whether my father is safe, unwell, or even alive feels like a form of mental torture,” he stated. “For several months, we have been unable to establish independent contact with him, and this lack of transparency is extremely distressing.”

Qasim Khan further alleged that crucial medical information is being concealed from the family. “We are concerned that an irreversible truth is being kept from us. Despite repeated requests from the family, my father’s personal physician has not been granted access for over a year,” he added.

The family’s concerns come amid heightened political tension in Pakistan, where Imran Khan remains a prominent figure with significant public support. Observers say that the absence of clear communication regarding his health has intensified uncertainty among his followers and the general public.

Officials have not provided detailed updates about Khan’s current condition, fueling speculation and concern over his welfare. The family has called for immediate transparency and unrestricted access for his personal medical team to ensure that his health status is accurately known and any necessary care can be provided.

Qasim Khan’s statement underscores the urgent need for authorities to clarify the situation to avoid misinformation and public unrest. Supporters and observers are closely watching developments, demanding that the government ensure the former prime minister’s safety and provide accurate updates about his condition.
