Dhaka, Jan 27 (V7N) — The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has stated that it will not allow Iran to be attacked using its airspace, land, or territorial waters, amid escalating regional tensions. Pakistani media outlet Dawn News reported the development.

According to the report, the UAE has made it clear that it will not provide any logistical or structural support for military actions against Tehran. The statement emphasized that the Emirates upholds dialogue and respects international law, rejecting any form of aggressive military action from its territory.

Previously, Israel had been accused of using Jordanian airspace to carry out attacks on Iran last year, raising concerns among regional states about violations of sovereignty.

Meanwhile, amid heightened tensions with the United States, a new mural has been unveiled at Enghelab Square in Tehran. The mural carries a direct warning to Washington against any military strike on Iran.

The artwork depicts a damaged U.S. aircraft carrier with several destroyed fighter jets and a disabled aircraft. An English slogan on the mural reads, “If you sow the wind, you will reap the whirlwind,” implying severe consequences for hostile actions.

The unveiling of the mural coincides with reports that the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier is moving toward the region.

Earlier, on Thursday (January 22), former U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One, while returning from the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, that the United States was sending a large naval fleet toward Iran. He said he did not want conflict but confirmed that Washington was closely monitoring the situation.

Following Trump’s remarks, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Commander Mohammad Pakpour warned that Iran’s forces remained fully prepared. He stated that the IRGC was “ready with its finger on the trigger” after suppressing recent public protests.

Pakpour also warned Israel and the United States to learn from historical experiences and last year’s 12-day war, cautioning that failure to do so could lead to more painful and regrettable consequences.
