Tehran, Mar 18 (V7N) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that the country’s state structure will remain intact even if top leaders are killed, emphasizing the strength of its institutional system.

In an interview with Al Jazeera on Tuesday, Araghchi said Iran is built on a robust institutional framework, and the loss of any individual would not destabilize the entire system.

Meanwhile, the government has not confirmed reports regarding the death of senior official Ali Larijani. However, state television has confirmed that Basij commander Gholamreza Soleimani has been killed.

Araghchi also noted that Iran has faced similar situations in the past, including the assassination of a Supreme Leader, but such events did not lead to the collapse of the state. His remarks suggest that the current crisis is unlikely to weaken the country’s governance structure.
