As Muslims around the world celebrated Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, the Gaza Strip faced yet another wave of devastating Israeli attacks. On Wednesday (April 10), at least 25 Palestinians lost their lives in brutal assaults in two locations within the besieged enclave.

In the Nuseirat camp area of Gaza, a residential neighborhood became the target of a vicious attack overnight, resulting in the death of 14 individuals, including 4 children. Meanwhile, in Deir al-Balah, another 11 people, including 5 women, were killed in a separate assault. The airstrikes also struck other areas across Gaza, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.

These relentless attacks have primarily targeted residential structures and refugee camps, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the already besieged territory. The latest casualties add to the staggering toll of Palestinian lives lost in Israeli attacks over the past six months, which now surpasses 33,300.

As families in Gaza mourned the loss of their loved ones on what should have been a day of celebration, the international community condemned the Israeli aggression and called for an immediate cessation of hostilities. However, amidst the ongoing violence and bloodshed, the people of Gaza continue to endure unimaginable suffering, their lives hanging in the balance as they grapple with the devastating consequences of the conflict.
