In the midst of escalating tensions between Tehran and Tel Aviv, the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah conducted a rocket attack targeting the Israeli army on Friday night, as reported by Reuters.
Hezbollah, backed by Iran, stated in a release that Israeli forces had been carrying out attacks on villages and civilians in southern Lebanon in recent days. In response, the rocket attack was directed towards the artillery position of the Israeli military.
According to the Israeli military, approximately 40 rockets were fired from Lebanese territory during the attack. However, the majority of these rockets were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems. Fortunately, there were no reported casualties resulting from the attack.
