Hamas has released videos of two remaining hostages captured during the October 7 attack on Israel, sparking renewed calls for action from the hostages' families and the Israeli government. The Palestinian Liberation Organization shared the videos on social media on Saturday, showcasing the hostages and their plea for release.

According to reports by the British news agency BBC, one of the hostages identified as 46-year-old Israeli citizen Omri Miran, disclosed that he has been held captive for the past 202 days. The other hostage, identified as 64-year-old American citizen Keith Siegel, referenced this week's holiday, suggesting that the video was recorded recently.

Keith Siegel and his wife Aviva were both captured by Hamas during the attack, but Aviva was later released during a brief ceasefire in November. The release of the new video follows an earlier video release this week featuring another American couple held by Hamas.

In response to the videos, the families of the hostages have called on the Israeli government to secure their release and urged for a ceasefire agreement with Hamas. They appealed for swift action to bring their loved ones home safely.

Meanwhile, Hamas has stated that it is reviewing Israel's latest proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza. Mediator Egypt has also reportedly sent a delegation to Israel to revitalize stalled talks, signaling a potential opportunity for progress in negotiations.

As the hostages remain in captivity, their families and supporters continue to advocate for their safe return, emphasizing the urgency of the situation and the need for diplomatic efforts to secure their release.
