Israeli troops have withdrawn from Jabalia in Gaza after an extensive period of continuous attacks and destruction, allowing residents to return to the devastated area. The full extent of the damage is now becoming apparent as bodies are being recovered from the rubble of the Jabalia refugee camp.

So far, 30 bodies have been retrieved, with 22 belonging to the same family. Residents are struggling to find their homes in what remains of the city. For over two weeks, Tel Aviv conducted a vigorous ground operation in Jabalia, supplemented by air strikes, while Hamas fighters attempted to resist the incursion.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they had recovered the bodies of seven hostages during the operation in Jabalia. With the withdrawal from Jabalia, the IDF has declared the conclusion of its operations in this region and signaled the commencement of military actions in other parts of Gaza.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza remains dire, with ongoing efforts to assess and address the immediate needs of the affected population.
