Tel Aviv, July 27— The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have recovered the bodies of five Israeli hostages from the Gaza Strip, according to a report by The Times of Israel.

The recovery operation took place on Wednesday local time, with the IDF retrieving the bodies from a Hamas tunnel. Among the deceased are a school teacher and four members of the Israeli military.

The identified hostages include:

    • Maya Goren, a school teacher
    • Sergeant Major Ravid Arieh Katz
    • Master Sergeant Oren Goldin
    • Staff Sergeant Tomar Ahimas
    • Sergeant Kirill Brodsky

The discovery highlights the ongoing conflict and the severe impact on both military personnel and civilians.
