Sylhet, June 27 (V7N)- An early morning accident on the Sylhet highway has resulted in one fatality. In Osmaninagar Upazila, a collision between a bus and a private car left one person dead at the scene. The accident occurred on the Sylhet-Dhaka highway at Ahmadnagar in Osmaninagar on Thursday (June 27) at around 6:30 am. The identity of the deceased car driver is not immediately known. Another passenger in the car was seriously injured in the incident.
 
Upon receiving the news, Osmaninagar Police and a team from Tajpur Fire Service arrived at the scene. They used machinery to cut through the wrecked car and retrieve the body. Local residents had earlier rescued the seriously injured person and sent them to the hospital. Osmaninagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) confirmed the accident and the death.
