Dhaka, Oct 02 (V7N): Renowned Islamic speaker Mizanur Rahman Azhari has returned to Bangladesh, marking his arrival through an announcement on his verified Facebook page on Wednesday.

In his post, Azhari expressed his gratitude, writing: "Alhamdulillah, I have safely arrived back in my beloved homeland. May the Most Merciful bless this return."

His uncle, Mosharraf Hossain, also shared a photo on social media, showing Azhari being welcomed with flowers at the airport. "Alhamdulillah, our beloved leader is now in our beloved homeland, Bangladesh," he commented.

Azhari had been residing in Malaysia since 2020. Earlier this year, following the mass uprising in August, he revealed his intentions to return home.

In a previous message shared on Facebook, he stated: "Many have asked when I will return. I want to tell them that I will be back soon, and I look forward to meeting you all in a just and equal Bangladesh."

He also paid tribute to those who lost their lives during the movement and expressed his support for those still enduring hardships in the fight against inequality.
