Dhaka, Oct 26 (V7N)- The Bangladesh Army has offered essential medical services to nearly 2,500 students injured in recent anti-discrimination protests, with ongoing treatment being administered at various Combined Military Hospitals (CMHs) across the country.

A statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday confirmed that since August 18, CMHs have been providing both emergency and advanced medical care to injured students, working around the clock to support recovery efforts.

According to updated statistics, a total of 2,533 students have received treatment at CMHs nationwide, including Dhaka CMH. Currently, 867 of them remain hospitalized, while the rest have been discharged following successful recovery.

The ISPR emphasized the Bangladesh Army’s commitment to aiding the swift recovery of students involved in the protests, continuing its dedication to delivering critical medical support throughout the country.
