Dhaka, Nov 07 (V7N) — Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Chief Advisor of the interim government, has called for state reform to harness the potential of the recent student-led revolution, encouraging people from all walks of life to share their insights on the matter. He made these remarks during the inauguration of an international conference hosted by Dhaka University’s Department of Physics and the Bose Center of Advanced Study and Research in Natural Sciences on Thursday morning.
Addressing the audience, Dr. Yunus emphasized the importance of building a nation that attracts global interest and engagement. "We envision a Bangladesh that the world looks to," he stated, underscoring his commitment to reform that aligns with international standards and the aspirations of the Bangladeshi people.
The conference, which spans four days and is taking place at the Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building, will run daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., concluding on November 10. It brings together scientists and scholars from around the world, including participants from the United States, Germany, Brazil, Japan, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, and Nepal. This gathering aims to foster international scientific collaboration and enhance research capabilities in natural sciences within Bangladesh.
