Mohammad Sohail, another activist, criticized the government for disregarding earlier recommendations: “The reform committee proposed 35 years for men and 37 for women, yet the decision was set at 32. This is not what we struggled for.”
He added, “The 32-year age limit is unacceptable—it’s a betrayal of our fight. Our struggle will continue until the age limit is set at 35. The red cards symbolize our disapproval of this decision.”
