Gazipur, Feb 08 (V7N) – The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has intensified its stance, issuing a fresh warning against the government and law enforcement agencies if those responsible for the recent attack on students in Gazipur are not arrested by tonight.

Sarjis Alam, a coordinator of the organization, delivered the warning during a protest rally held at Rajbari on Saturday afternoon. “If those involved in the attack on the students and the public in Gazipur are not arrested by tonight, we will take a stand against the government and the police,” Alam declared, signaling the potential for escalated action if their demands remain unmet.

This statement follows an earlier ultimatum set by the group, demanding the arrest of the attackers by 10 a.m. on Sunday. The protests erupted after students were violently attacked at the residence of former Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque in Gazipur's Dhirashram area on Friday night, leaving at least 20 people injured.

As tensions rise, the organization has vowed to continue its demonstrations until justice is served, placing additional pressure on the authorities to respond promptly to their demands.
