Dhaka, Feb 19 (V7N) – Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan, advisor to the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, has warned that those creating chaos in educational institutions will face legal action.

Speaking at the Youth Festival at Adamjee Cantonment School in Dhaka on Wednesday (February 19), he emphasized the government’s commitment to maintaining order in academic institutions.

Call for Youth Engagement

Advisor Asif urged young people to contribute to nation-building, stating that the interim government is keen on harnessing their potential.

"We want to utilize the power of youth to build a new Bangladesh based on skills and qualifications," he said.

Government Initiatives & Political Stance

  • The advisor noted that efforts are underway to make law enforcement more people-friendly.
  • He dismissed the necessity of holding elections for the Awami League, stating that the party’s existence is no longer relevant.
  • He also indicated that legal measures would be taken to eliminate the Awami League.
