Dhaka, Mar 12 (V7N) – Top executives of Koch Holding, a leading Turkish investment company, and its subsidiaries Beko and I-Gas have reaffirmed their commitment to investing in Bangladesh during a high-profile visit.
The delegation, led by Koch Holding CEO Levent Çakıroğlu, included senior officials from the company’s consumer durables and energy sectors. They were hosted by Singer Bangladesh Limited and United iGas LPG, a joint venture between United Enterprises and iGas.
During the visit, the delegation toured the newly built Singer Bangladesh Limited Home Appliance Plant and the United iGas LPG facility, emphasizing their long-term vision for business expansion in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Koch Holding CEO Levent Çakıroğlu said, “Our core values at Koch Group are to maintain continuity, properly evaluate our partners, expand and diversify our global market presence, and prioritize customer-centric innovation.”
He highlighted that Koch Holding has invested over $14 billion globally in the past five years, with a strong focus on sustainable growth and technological advancement. “Bangladesh and the wider South Asia region present vast opportunities as a potential export hub. We are committed to accelerating growth, improving operations, and making significant contributions to Bangladesh’s industrial and economic development,” he added.
Dr. Fatih Kemal Eviçlioğlu, President of the Consumer Durables Group, noted that Beko’s acquisition of Singer Bangladesh has combined global expertise with Singer’s 120-year legacy, extensive distribution network, and deep local market knowledge. “Our goal has not only been business expansion but also making a meaningful contribution to Bangladesh’s social and economic development,” he said.
Singer Bangladesh Limited Managing Director and CEO M.H.M. Fairoz emphasized the company’s transformation journey, stating, “By putting customer needs at the forefront, we are bringing Beko’s world-class retail experience to Bangladesh. Significant changes in production, retail experience, and work environment have helped us reach the peak of our transformation.”
The visit underscores Koch Holding’s strong commitment to the Bangladeshi market and its strategic focus on sustainable business growth in the region.
