Dhaka, Jun 09 (V7N) — The country’s popular tourist destinations are bustling with visitors enjoying the Eid long holiday. On Monday, families and groups of friends flocked to natural attractions across the country, immersing themselves in the beauty and tranquility away from the hectic pace of everyday life.
The famed sea beach city of Cox’s Bazar has seen a surge of tourists, with crowded spots including Sugandha, Kalatali, and Laboni. Visitors are reveling in the soothing sounds of the sea and the scenic coastline.
Other popular beach attractions such as Himchhari, Inani, and Patuartek are also drawing large crowds from across the country. The tourism sector is thriving as a result of the increased footfall during this festive period.
In the hill districts, Rangamati has become a hotspot for mountain lovers. Known for its lakes and hills, Rangamati is bustling with tourists visiting attractions like the Hanging Bridge, Sukhi Nilganj, Palwell Park, Rajban Bihar, Kaptai Lake, Shuvolong Jharna, and Sajek Valley.
Notably, after nearly two years, partial lifting of travel restrictions to Rumar Bagalek in Bandarban and Thanchi Tumatungi has led to renewed interest among adventurers. Tourist numbers are also on the rise at Alutila, Richang Jharna, Zilla Parishad Park, and other scenic spots in Khagrachari, as visitors enjoy the serene beauty of the hill districts with their loved ones.
