Dhaka, Nov 10 (V7N) — Two passenger buses were set on fire in separate incidents in the capital early Monday morning. The arson attacks occurred around 6:30 am in Badda and Gulshan areas, police and local sources confirmed.
The first incident took place in front of BRAC University in Badda, where unidentified miscreants set fire to a bus belonging to Akash Enterprise. Shortly afterward, another bus, Victor Classic, was torched in Shahjadpur Banshtala under Gulshan Police Station.
No casualties were reported in either incident. However, the fire incidents caused significant traffic congestion on Badda Road. Police later arrived at the scene and removed the damaged buses to restore traffic flow.
