Dhaka, Nov 12 (V7N) — Mainul Khan, Chairman of the Trade and Tariff Commission, has resigned from his post with 10 months remaining in his tenure. His resignation letter, dated October 30, was submitted to the Ministry of Public Administration, with a copy sent to the Ministry of Commerce.
Mainul Khan is currently in Saudi Arabia performing Umrah Hajj. According to a government order, his leave spans October 26 to November 14.
In an online group of Tariff Commission officials, he announced his voluntary retirement, expressing gratitude for nearly 32 years of government service and highlighting his professional experiences in various positions.
