Dhaka, Dec 13 (V7N)- Legal Advisor to the interim government Asif Nazrul has expressed hope for the safe return of Osman Hadi, describing him as a brave, patriotic and compassionate individual.

In a status posted on his verified social media account on Saturday, Asif Nazrul wrote, “With the prayers of so many people, God willing, our lion-hearted Hadi will return.”

He said Osman Hadi is widely known as a courageous and patriotic man, adding that on the day he posted the status, he heard touching accounts of Hadi’s human qualities from his colleagues.

Quoting them, Asif Nazrul said that over the past one and a half years, Hadi often slept on bare carpets alongside his colleagues when necessary. If he had a pillow, he would place it under a colleague’s head, and he even washed workers’ clothes himself.

“As his colleagues shared these stories in tearful voices at Jamuna, our hearts became even more broken,” he wrote. He also mentioned the heart-rending cries of Hadi’s sister, saying he found no words to describe the pain.

The post has since drawn widespread emotional responses on social media, with many expressing solidarity and prayers for Osman Hadi’s safe return.
