184 workers in the Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) offices have received promotions to administrative officers.

In this regard, a notification was released by the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday, January 15.

The notification says that as per the recommendation of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC), 184 Deputy Administrative Officers, Assistant Administrative Officers, and Deputy Assistant Administrative Officers (formerly Office Superintendent, CA cum Senior Assistant, Chief Assistant, Treasury Accountant, Statistical Assistant, Senior Assistant, and Scribe cum Computer Operator) have been promoted to the post of Administrative Officer in Grade 10 (Tk 16,000-38,640) of the National Pay Scale-2015.

Following the promotion, they were also posted.

A second-class officer held the position of administrative officer in the past. Government positions do not currently follow a class structure
