French Ambassador Marie Masdupuy expressed the desire to deepen French ties in Bangladesh, highlighting shared interests in fashion, food, and politics. Speaking at a French Alumni gathering ahead of the Paris Olympics, she emphasized France's commitment to making the games greener, more equal, and inclusive.

Encouraging more Bangladeshi students to study in France, she noted that currently, about 600 are enrolled in French universities. The Ambassador highlighted the values of liberty, equality, fraternity, excellence, respect, and friendship, which will be reflected in the Paris Olympics.
