Pabna, June 28 (V7N)- Deputy Speaker of the National Parliament and Pabna-1 constituency MP, freedom fighter Advocate Shamsul Haque Tuku suddenly fell ill. He has been airlifted to Dhaka for emergency medical treatment.
 
On Friday (June 28) afternoon at around 3 PM, a Navy helicopter transported him from Abdul Khalek Stadium in Pabna. Earlier, around 11 AM, he participated as the chief guest in a tree planting ceremony at Bipin Bihari Pilot High School grounds. After the inauguration, he was preparing to plant trees near his residence. 
 
At that time, he suddenly felt unwell and collapsed. He was immediately taken to Beda Upazila Health Complex where he regained some stability. Later, he was airlifted to Dhaka by a Navy helicopter for advanced medical care.
 
Regarding this, Beda Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Morshedul Islam told Voice7 News that he suddenly fell ill after an event in the afternoon. Currently, he is somewhat stable but his heart condition isn't great, so he has been taken to a combined military hospital in Dhaka for treatment.
