With the efforts of nine units for four and a half hours, the fire of the factory called Globe Gloves Manufacture Bangladesh Limited in Dhaladia Signboard area of Sreepur, Gazipur has been brought under control. The fire control has been confirmed by the fire service.

However, even though the fire was brought under control, the locals said that smoke could be seen from some places on the three floors of the building.

Meanwhile, the fire broke out in the factory around 3:30 pm. Instantly, the fire spread to the entire factory. On receiving the information, 5 fire service units including Kapasia Fire Service, Sripur Fire Service and Rajendrapur Chowrasta started working to control the fire.

Three more units of Joydevpur Fire Service arrived and started working as the fire level increased. The fire service later confirmed the addition of another unit. Initially, the cause of the fire and casualties were not known.
