Dhaka, Aug 26 (V7N): Registration for Hajj 2025 is set to start on 1 September and will continue until 30 November, accessible through both public and private channels. According to a press release from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, this initial registration period will not be extended.

The release also highlights ongoing efforts to reduce the cost of the general Hajj package for 2025 compared to last year. The final Hajj package price for this year will be announced after the costs for the Saudi phase and airfare are determined.

Those who are either pre-registered or new registrants can secure their initial registration by depositing Tk3 lakh. The remaining balance of the Hajj package must be paid within the timeframe specified in the package. The pre-registration fee for both public and private channels is set at Tk30,000.

For 2025, Saudi Arabia has allocated a quota of 127,198 people for Bangladesh. Once this quota is filled, the initial registration process will automatically close.
