Dhaka, Sep 15 (V7N): Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus visited the army headquarters for the first time on Sunday, where he received a briefing on key national security matters.

Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by the Chief of Army Staff, General Waker-Uz-Zaman, as confirmed by a press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

According to the ISPR, the chief adviser's guidance during the visit will be instrumental in shaping and executing future national security strategies.

Several high-ranking officials accompanied Prof Yunus during the visit, including Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Tauhid Hossain, Home Affairs Adviser Lt Gen Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (retd), Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser on Defence Lt Gen Abdul Hafiz (retd), Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain, as well as the Navy and Air Force chiefs.
