On Friday, No.1 soybean futures at the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) closed lower in daytime trading. The most actively traded No.1 soybean contract, set for July 2024 delivery, fell by 20 yuan (approximately 2.81 U.S. dollars) to close at 4,652 yuan per tonne. 

On the same day, the total trading volume across all six listed No.1 soybean futures contracts on the DCE reached 79,303 lots, with a combined turnover of around 3.68 billion yuan. China continues to be the world's largest importer of soybeans, influencing global market trends and prices significantly.
