DHAKA, Feb 16 (V7N) – BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman met with Pir of Charmonai and Ameer of Bangladesh Islami Andolan, Mufti Syed Rezaul Karim, this evening at his residence on Siddheswari Road in the capital’s Ramna area.Tarique Rahman arrived at the residence around 7:15 pm, accompanied by party leaders.

Mufti Syed Rezaul Karim welcomed him with flowers, and the two exchanged pleasantries during the meeting.Also present were BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, BNP Chairman’s Press Secretary Saleh Shibly, and Nayeb-e-Ameer of Islami Andolan Bangladesh, Mufti Syed Muhammad Faizul Karim.

Tarique Rahman departed from the residence at 7:54 pm, having left Gulshan earlier at 6:30 pm to attend the visit.This meeting follows Tarique Rahman’s visits yesterday evening to the residences of Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and NCP Convener Nahid Islam, marking a series of courtesy calls after the BNP’s significant victory in the recent national parliamentary elections.
