Dhaka, Apr 17 (V7N) – Titas Gas Distribution and Transmission Limited has announced that gas supply will be suspended for 14 hours on Friday, April 18 due to maintenance and the relocation of gas pipelines in various areas of the capital.

According to a notification released by the gas authority on Thursday, the suspension will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until 12:00 midnight. The affected areas include major locations such as Grameenphone Head Office, North South University, Unique Hotel, US Embassy, Ananta Energy Resources, Pinnacle Power, Pragati CNG, and all industrial, commercial, and captive customers from Balaka Bhaban in Kawla to Shahjadpur Subastu Tower.

In addition to the full suspension, low gas pressure is expected to affect residential and commercial areas including Nikunja, Khilkhet, Baridhara, Bashundhara Residential Area, Kuril, Jagannathpur, Kalachandpur, and surrounding areas.

Titas Gas has apologized to its customers for the temporary inconvenience and urged them to plan accordingly.

This maintenance work is essential for ensuring the safety and efficiency of the gas distribution network, which serves thousands of customers across the city.
