Dhaka North City Corporation has initiated an eviction drive at Sadeeq Agro Farm, illegally constructed on Ramchandrapur canal and adjacent road in Mohammadpur. The demolition began around 12:30 pm today. Despite claims by Sadeeq Agro authorities of having valid documents, the structures were found to be illegally occupying canal land.

A prominent goat valued at Tk15 lakh was relocated during the eviction. The owner, Imran Hossain, President of the Bangladesh Dairy Farmers Association, had leased the land, which is owned by Abdul Rashid Talukder and managed by his brother Abdul Alim. Despite prior notices, the farm authorities ignored warnings, leading to the eviction with police support.
