Quota reform protesters have blocked the railway tracts in Mahakhali in the capital and blocked the adjacent roads amid the ongoing complete shutdown announced by them.

Meanwhile, a police box in Rampura was seen on fire. However, members of the Fire Service and Civil Defence could not reach the area due to the blockade.

Earlier, the day, the students took to the streets in Dhaka’s Uttara, ultimately leading to a clash with law enforcement.

The protest turned violent when police intervened to disperse them, leading to clashes.

To bring the situation under control, police lobbed tear gas shells multiple times.

Protesters then vandalized a police box and two buses.

The clash occurred in front of Zamzam Tower in Uttara.
