Dhaka, July 18 (V7N) - Tragedy struck near Badda in the capital as clashes erupted between police and students demanding quota reforms, resulting in the death of a United International University student.
According to Dr. Arman, an emergency medical officer at AMZ Hospital, the student succumbed to multiple bullet wounds upon arrival. Over 200 students from various universities, including BRAC University, AIUB, and Canadian University, sought medical assistance following the skirmishes.
Among them, one student with critical head injuries was referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, while five others continue to receive treatment at AMZ Hospital.
