Dhaka, Oct 08 (V7N) — The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has issued a warning for the possibility of a storm with wind speeds reaching up to 60 km per hour over six districts in the country. The affected areas include Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogura, Tangail, Mymensingh, and Sylhet.
The forecast indicates that gusty or squally winds, ranging from 45 to 60 km per hour, may blow from the south or southwest, accompanied by rain or thunderstorms, between 5:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. today.
Due to the potential for turbulent weather, river ports in these regions have been advised to display the number one warning signal. Mariners and river transport operators have been urged to remain cautious during this period to avoid any mishaps.
Citizens in the affected areas are advised to stay informed and take necessary precautions.
