Dhaka, Nov 08 (V7N)- With the first week of November now past, fog has started to settle across Bangladesh, particularly in the northern regions. This early appearance of fog has prompted the Bangladesh Meteorological Department to issue updates on when winter conditions might begin.
According to the forecast, temperatures in Dhaka are expected to drop significantly after December 20, marking the potential start of colder winter weather for the capital. Meteorologists have also predicted 8 to 10 mild to moderate cold waves across the country from November through January.
The northwestern, northeastern, and central regions are likely to experience harsher conditions, with 2 to 3 severe cold waves anticipated. These severe cold spells could bring temperatures down further, affecting daily life and increasing the demand for warm clothing and heating solutions, especially in vulnerable areas.
As winter approaches, people across the country are advised to prepare for the cold weather and stay updated on further forecasts from the Meteorological Department.
