Dhaka, Nov 27 (V7N) — The deep depression over the southwest Bay of Bengal continues to move north-northwestward, currently located at 8.40°N latitude and 82.37°E longitude as of 6:00 AM Wednesday. The Meteorological Department has warned that the depression is likely to intensify further and continue its trajectory north-northwestward.

Wednesday: Weather is expected to remain dry with a partly cloudy sky across most of the country.

Thursday: Light rain may occur in one or two locations in Khulna, Barisal, and Chittagong divisions. Other regions will experience mainly dry weather with partly cloudy skies. Light to moderate fog is expected in some areas from late night to early morning. Day and night temperatures are likely to increase slightly.

Friday: Light to moderate rain or thundershowers may occur in Khulna, Barisal, and Chittagong divisions. Other regions will continue with dry weather and partly cloudy skies. Night temperatures are expected to rise slightly, while daytime temperatures may drop marginally.

The Meteorological Department anticipates a slight drop in both day and night temperatures over the extended period.

Residents in the affected areas, particularly those in the southern divisions, are advised to stay updated on further bulletins and prepare for possible rain and changes in temperature.
