Dhaka, Apr 15 (V7N) – Parts of Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, along with isolated areas in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, and Barisal divisions, may experience temporary gusty winds, rain, or thundershowers, according to a five-day weather forecast issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Tuesday morning.

The forecast, which covers the period starting from 9:00 AM on April 15, suggests a slight drop in daytime temperatures across the country, while night temperatures are expected to remain mostly unchanged.

Upcoming Weather Highlights:

  • Wednesday (April 16): Rain with gusty winds is likely in parts of Khulna, Chittagong, and Sylhet divisions, and isolated places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Barisal divisions.

  • Thursday and Friday (April 17–18): Scattered rain and gusty winds are expected in several areas of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, and Sylhet divisions.

  • Saturday (April 19): Day temperatures may see a slight decrease, while night temperatures remain steady. Widespread rain accompanied by temporary gusty winds is likely in many areas of Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, and Barisal divisions, and in some parts of Rangpur, Chittagong, and Sylhet divisions.

The extended outlook indicates that the trend of rainfall may decrease toward the end of the five-day period, while temperatures are likely to rise gradually.
